About the prints


 

  • We visit on a regular basis « Le Paradis des orchidées » to capture their new arrivals and rare specimens. We examine each photograph and concentrate our artisitic energy on the exceptional photo and apply our Art to reveal the beauty of the orchids.
  • The list of the materials used are glued to the back of the numbered print for preservation purposes. A numbered Certificate of authenticity is given for prints 8 x 10 and above.
  • We print on Epson Fine Art quality papers. We use high definition printing EPSON professional printers technologies with EPSON Ultrachrome K3 inks to achieve prints that reveals on the appropriate paper the maximum color saturation and tonalities.

    We use the following Epson papers: Velvet Fine Art 100% cotton, Somerset Velvet Fine Art and Exhibition Fiber Paper. The content of the photograph determines our choice of paper.
  • Accelerated light fading tests conducted by Wilhelm Imaging Research predict a display life of over 70 years before noticable fading of these UltraChrome K3 archival pigment prints. These tests are based on standard indoor display conditions of 450 lux of glass-filtered fluorescent light for 12 hours per day. For further testing details, please visit Wilhelm Imaging Research.
  • Notecards are an excellent way to evaluate our work. Our Notecards are handmade, signed, limited editions, the photos areFine Art quality and created exclusively for you. They are individually wrapped. The papier has a linen finish and the enveloppes are decked which highten there quality aspect and gives them a distinctive feel.
  • The prints usually ship within two (2) weeks.
  • The highly compressed images used on this website cannot do justice to the fine detail and beautiful rich colors of these expressive images. We are confident that you will be pleased with the quality of the final photographs, and we offer a «no questions asked» return policy. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, simply return the print within thirty days for a full refund.
